New and improved My Brighton app coming soon

We’re really excited to announce that our new and improved version of My Brighton will be launching early October. Watch this space for when it goes live.

For the past few months we’ve consulted student representatives to get their insight and feedback on ways to improve the app and web platform. My Brighton is still the best app to access your university email, timetable and course notes through My Studies but is now even better with its redesign to make university online services easier to find and provide updates whilst on the go.

Main improvements are:

  • Improved navigation and layout – will help you find the service you need quicker
  • Improved news and alerts – you’ll see the latest announcements you need to know
  • New home for campus events – we’ll list all on-campus events organised by the Students’ Union, talks featuring inspiring guest speakers plus student support related events for wellbeing and financial help etc.
  • A personalised experience – My Brighton features some personalisation features so you can display it the way you want and show relevant news and services just for you.

New My Brighton app will be available from early October

If you already have the My Brighton app on your phone then you simply need to update to the new version. Depending on your device settings this will either update automatically or go through the Google and Apple Stores manually. See the links below for your preferred device:

Once installed, you will need to consent for it to access your email and calendar as well as logging into My Studies.

Students can feedback on the new version and we’ll review the design and features throughout the academic year for potential future improvements.
