Congrats to our student employee awardees!

Well done to our winners and nominees of this year’s Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Awards.

Five University of Brighton students have been recognised for excelling in their work. All had been working either part-time at the University or part-time with private employers.

A big congrats to our winners and nominees:

• Anna Pack – nominated in ‘Commercial Impact’ category
• Catherine Crowe – winner of ‘Above and Beyond’ category

• Louise Jackson – winner of ‘Above and Beyond’ category

“It has been a privilege and a pleasure to provide peer support to my fellow students in the School of Education. I have very much enjoyed being a member of Mel Gill’s Assignment Support Team over the past three years.”

• Hannah Park – winner of ‘Step up to Leadership’ category

“Working for the University of Brighton was a really fun and rewarding experience.”

• Zhenggang Zhou – winner of ‘Step up to Leadership – external’ category

Being awarded shows that students have the skills that employers need, thinks Chris Kuzmicki, Student & Graduate Employment Coordinator.

“It shows that students can excel in a work environment while studying, and have a positive experience in the workplace that will be invaluable after graduation,” he said.

Winners are automatically entered into the SEOTY regional awards. Their work experience can also be added to their CV.
