What are Nuffield Research Placements?

 

Nuffield Research Placements provide talented and highly motivated students aged 16 – 17 with the opportunity to work with Scientists, Technologists, Engineers and Mathematicians over a 4-6 week period in the summer.

Nuffield particularly try to attract students from low-income households who may not have a family history of higher education.

Benefits of offering a placement

• Development of teaching and mentoring skills
• Potential contributions to published papers or grant applications
• Contribute to pilot or side projects that you want to get up and running
