Your dream job might be closer than you think
Whilst it’s fantastic to get a job in a blue-chip company, there are jobs are right on your doorstep that can provide you with just as much opportunity.
For graduates Hywel and Axcell, they thought that they needed to work for a big company in a big city to improve their career options.
After completing an internship at Immersive Album, a company that brings technology and music together, they realised that working in a small business meant that they were given a lot of responsibility and gained a great amount of experience in a short time.
Hywel studied Digital Music and Sound Arts at the Grand Parade campus whilst Axcell studied Digital Games Production at the Hastings campus. They both found out about the internships through the Careers Service and decided to apply.
They were accepted on to the internships and have have since been employed permanently by the company.
