Congratulations to STRANDs Natalia Noriega Pedraza who won the people’s vote for best 3 minute thesis at yesterdays Postgraduate Festival.  Her work focuses on incorporating 2D transition metals carbides and nitrides (MXenes) in a lens for detection of biomarkers in ophthalmic fluids.
