How do web standards make the internet usable from every device?
Date: Wed 19 March (the session will be held on Microsoft Teams from 5-6pm)
Writing standards-based code for the web means that people can see it on any web enabled device. The devices know how to display the webpages because they are based on the same standards.
This session includes an interactive activity and will give you a flavour of what it is like to study web development as part of a computing course. We aren’t focused on the look of the pages, but the functionality.
Please note you will need to have access to a computer and use the files that we will send you to take part in the interactive element of the session.
