Professor Sheptycki’s research has ranged across a wide variety of areas including transnational crime and policing, domestic violence, serial killers, money laundering and organised crime, drugs, and public order policing. He is currently engaged in research concerning  ‘guns, crime and social order’,  and this will be the focus of his talk, at Brighton, today
