Niki Khan will be working on a monograph that ‘reverses’ the dominant imperial gaze on Anglo-Afghan relations, by looking at the experiences of Afghan migrant taxi-drivers in Britain. She will develop this perspective through ideas about ethnographic storytelling, movement and time, and historical transformations.
