By the end of week 1 and beginning of week 2 , me and my group have agreed on the topic Old Folk Fairy Tales. This was because no one else in our class was covering this topic, and we felt like it was a very interesting topic we can dive deep in and explore our creativity. It took me a while to chose between Princess and the Pea and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, however after a think I chose the story of Snow White. This was because after a rough research of each Fairy Tale, I discovered deeper and darker resources of the original story by the Brothers Grimm, 1812 , where I realised I can cover a lot of research and explore more creative responses.

Jess and Kris chose The Folk Tales, Little Red Riding Hood and Sirens / The little mermaid. They chose these stories as they also manged to find rough information on older tales and meanings they could experiment with and develop.

So far I am feeling confident in the topic I have chosen. This is because I know the story well and am personally very invested in the original Brothers Grimm version that appears to be more darker than the Fairy Tale we all know.
