We had a lovely time participating in the BASEM conference this last weekend in the Grand Hotel in Brighton. Our PhD student Maria Kotopoulea Nikolaidi presented her preliminary data of her research work on blood flow restriction during resistance training and run a workshop together with KAATSU Inc on KAATSU and Blood flow restriction training.

Dr. Giannopoulou was an invited speaker and presented her work on low energy availability (LEA) and relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S) in collaboration with BASEM.
