London Fog

I woke from a dream and I thought I could remember the taste of (vegan) London Fog. I could remember it from Boscanova in the late 00s and I remember the vegan version was called Boscombe Fog. At the time I did some research and I seem to remember finding it is sometimes called a Manchester Fog (though, don’t quote me – my memory is bad).

I decided to Google London Fog and was surprised to discover in the past decade it has grown in popularity. I can find little mention of the vegan version being called a Manchester Fog, and Boscanova appear to have stopped using the term Boscombe Fog last decade. It now appears to be called a vegan London Fog or an Earl Grey latte.

In the years since I last drank a London Fog, someone created a wikipedia page for it and Twinings blogged about it. And it appears to be on some Starbucks menus. I found an ex-colleagues’s review of London Fog in 2020; monstermakes.blogspot.com/2010/08/review-cafe-boscanova.html.

Now I’m on a mission to make or find a London Fog…
