Lorraine has continued her walking fundraising throughout the summer and said: “I have spent July and August exploring the Sussex countryside and managed to walk just over 409 KM.

“The highlight was the lovely August day when I joined Michelle Fossey and her son Benji. They were part of the way through their walk along the South Downs Way.

“I was so impressed with Benji’s energy that I will double my August donation in recognition of a supreme effort! I will donate a total of £61.00 to the Malagiri School.

“So far, I have worn out my walking shoes, seen Sussex from a completely different perspective and enlivened my thirst for all matters geographical. Looking forward to new adventures in September.”
