My practice revolves around the idea of taking known information and distorting it through the use of technology and print, with an emphasis on line, texture and shape. There is a strong interest in distortion of the face until unrecognisable. I am interested in taking samplesĀ of text or drawing and running them through several different processes, creating a cycle where new images constantly evolve out of the old. Piecing these together to create a sort of jigsaw puzzle, I became interested in the maze-like pattern where some lines connect and flow while others lead to a dead end.
