An environment holds memory in a way incomparable to how any fact ridden document does. In a way similar to how the human brain holds memory, over time it shifts and begins blending with fictitious aspects, filling in for parts we forget. ‘North of The River’ is an exploration of a family murder. I became an investigator when I found holes in the story, my work forming through meditating on exploring hidden truth, a fabricated reality, blending fact and fiction.
