I am really happy that I was able to re do some of my images before the country went into complete lockdown. These had to be really quick, but it meant that I had something to work with stuck indoors!
Firstly, Meg was able to do the shoot after all, which meant that I was able to stick closer to plan. After learning from my mistakes in the other shoot, I change location and styling a bit more and also had some photography assistance from Caterina so that I was able to focus on the model and styling more. I think this collaboration has made the images stronger as it is not so overwhelming doing a shoot. I also was glad that I got to focus on the styling as I feel that without it, the images wouldve been weak.
Secondly, some remaining models in Brighton (they didn’t need to be professional models as it wasn’t meant to be that way) were able to help me to take some polaroids for the family store event, Family Photo. I chose to do this on polaroid as it made it fun, and for the actual event I was to use a polaroid. I really like these images as they are fun and fulfil the purpose and also make the customer feel like they can get involved. The polaroids also have a hashtag at the bottom, for social media but they will also be on the actual polaroids as stickers so that when customers get a polaroids they can share it with the family store socials.
