Issues:
  • Rubrics

As you set up a new submission point, in the Optional Settings, it’s possible to choose the rubric that you want to attach to the assignment, from a list.  Occasionally, however, the list may not load, preventing you from choosing a rubric (see next picture).  Similarly, you may also be unable to access the Rubric/Form Manager.

Rubrics not loading

Google have recently updated the Chrome browser to include a bug fix for an issue where Chrome becomes unresponsive, ie, the page ‘freezes’. If you are using Google Chrome and have noticed that the browser becomes unresponsive when using GradeMark or viewing papers in the Document Viewer, please download and install the new version of Chrome to resolve the issue.

I have been working in the Educational Technology field within Higher Education for eleven years. A big part of my job is finding new and innovative ways of integrating technology into current teaching and learning methodology. This can include assisting academic staff with Virtual Learning Environments/Learning Management Systems (Blackboard), implementing specific software packages, maximising current technologies and championing new ones. I find this profession both riveting and rewarding. I really enjoy life on the cutting edge, but I also enjoy being able to help staff achieve small and meaningful efficiencies; sometimes that makes all the difference.
