Are your students engaging online?

As more emphasis is being placed on delivering a blended curriculum approach do you know how engaged your students are with the content you deliver via studentcentral?

Although the analysis tools in studentcentral appear limited they can be very revealing and are simple to use.

There are two tools to help you understand your students performance and engagement online, both could be used as an early indicator of students at risk.

1. The Performance Dashboard

The Performance Dashboard, amongst other functionality, can quickly give you an overview, at module level, of when students last logged in. For more details see: The Performance Dashboard

2. The Retention Centre

The Retention Centre allows you to check the overall academic health of your students and see who is struggling. Find out who needs your help and drill in to see their specific areas of difficulty. Contact the most at-risk students immediately and flag those you want to monitor closely. For more details see the Retention Centre section in: What’s New in studentcentral
