Early Childhood Education and Care Conference

Students studying our Early Childhood Education and Care BA(Hons) recently attended their end of year conference.

The conference provides an opportunity for students across all three years to share their knowledge, including their experiences on placement and the writing of dissertations. Personal academic tutoring sessions also enabled them to review and reflect on the  academic years and prepare for the next.

They were also very fortunate to be joined by two early years professionals and researchers for keynotes:

• Lewis Fogarty from Brunel University, gave a keynote titled Professional confidence in EY and making a difference
• David Wright from the Early Years Academy, gave a presentation on The passion and compassion of teaching in EY

The day also provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievement of final year students as they approach graduation.
