Women in Leadership series – Networking Breakfast

Don’t Miss Our Women in Leadership Networking Breakfast on Thursday 23 January 2025!

This is a free event – book your place

We’re kicking off our exciting three-part Women in Leadership event series with an inspiring morning you won’t want to miss!

Hosted by the School of Business and Law, this free networking breakfast is your chance to connect with an incredible community of businesswomen from across Brighton and Sussex. And to top it off, we’ve got a thought-provoking talk from the amazing Daisy Cresswell of Make Good Trouble, who will be sharing her insights on “Sticky Floors to Soaring Heights: Empowering Women in Business.”

Daisy will dive into what it takes to break free from the “sticky floors” holding women back in business, drawing from her impressive 30+ years of experience in digital media production, entrepreneurship, and championing social change. Plus, Kerry Watkins will be hosting a vibrant networking session to help you expand your circle and make meaningful connections.

Here’s a little about Daisy: After graduating from Central St Martins, she worked with iconic entrepreneur Anita Roddick at The Body Shop, led a male-dominated multimedia department at Imagination, and has since co-founded two successful businesses. Today, through Make Good Trouble, she’s creating opportunities for young people and amplifying their voices through digital storytelling. Truly inspiring!
