With our new postcode checker, you can quickly see if you’re eligible for our Brighton Boost financial support package, designed to help you with the cost of living and make everyday things just that little bit easier.  

What is Brighton Boost? 

We know that cost can be a worry when starting university, which is why we’ve created Brighton Boost – a package of both financial and practical support.  

Depending on your circumstances, you could be eligible for: 

  • Up to £1,250 to help with accommodation or travel costs 
  • Free laptop loans 
  • Support with finding part-time work 
  • A lower grade contextual offer

Join our personal statement advice session and Q+A 

Applying to university and writing your personal statement can feel overwhelming. To help you stand out and feel confident about your UCAS application, we’re hosting live advice sessions.  

These live sessions will take place on:  

  • Wednesday 15 January 2025, 5–6pm 
  • Thursday 23 January 2025, 5–6pm 

At these sessions we will take you through the UCAS application process, how to make a strong application and write a personal statement that really highlights your strengths. Our friendly staff and current students can answer any questions you have, or feel free just to listen in.
