Supporting international recruitment in India
Rachael Carden, Dean of the School of Business and Law recently joined colleagues, Sarah Kaiser, Nidhi Manocha and Upasana Handa, from the international team on a trip to India
The packed itinerary included stops in New Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.
The group embarked on a full schedule of engagements with offer holders, prospective students and agents, which are all vital in maintaining good relationships with the university. The team have praised what a pleasure it was to have Rachael accompany them on this trip.
Rachael said “It was such a fantastic opportunity for me to see, first-hand, the beginning of the student pipeline from India to Brighton. It was really great to build bridges between our university, offer holders and Indian institutions; allowing us to share our views of higher education in 2024 and beyond.”
Sarah Kaiser, International Recruitment Manager for Asia, said: “Rachael’s enthusiastic guidance was greatly appreciated by both School of business and Law offer holders and other attendees, as well as the university team. Her contributions were vital to the overall success of the trip.”
During their time in India, the team visited 13 agent offices, conducted four offer holder sessions, made two university visits to the NorthCap University in Gurgaon and Stella Maris College, Chennai (where Rachael delivered a lecture), and hosted a gathering for key recruitment stakeholders. Activities like this are key in bolstering the university’s presence and partnerships in India.
Engagements like these contribute to the university gaining visibility in India and strengthen relationships with our agent partners. Thank you to all colleagues involved in coordinating and executing a successful trip.
