It’s time to enrol!
When you enrol, you become an official Brighton student and get access to My Studies, the My Brighton app and your welcome timetable.
How to enrol
You can complete an online enrolment via Student View from 21 August. You’ll have received an email invite with more info about online enrolment.
As part of online enrolment, you’ll need to upload a photo of you for your unicard, which you’ll be able to collect once you arrive at uni. The photo needs to be a passport style, colour photo, of your head and shoulders on a plain background, that’s ideally less than one month old. Smiling is absolutely fine, but your face must not be obscured by hair, hats, sunglasses, or flash glare.
Reasons to enrol early
- Make it official! Once you’ve completed online enrolment you’re officially a University of Brighton student.
- Take away the stress by getting enrolment completed early! Then you can kick back and enjoy the last few weeks of summer before joining us later in September.
- Get access to My Studies (the day after you enrol), which you can use to find out more about starting your course.
- You can then log in to the My Brighton app to take a look at your welcome timetable (you’ll get your academic timetable when you arrive) and access your uni emails.
- Get excited – you’re coming to Brighton! Repeatedly named one of the best cities in the country for a reason…
Activating your university user account
To do this please visit activate.brighton.ac.uk/apply and follow the instructions. You’ll need your University of Brighton student number, which you can find in your email from the university.
Once you’ve activated your account, you’ll be able to reset your password to something more memorable. If you have any problems getting your username and password, contact us.
Please wait 15 minutes for your account to be activated.
