Philip Connolly who teaches on Brighton’s Film BA(Hons) has released a new short film on YouTube featuring TV and film stars Jamie Lee O’Donnell, Mark Benton and Adnan Mustafa – in the new release we see Hope (O’Donnell) struggling with anxiety ahead of a big moment in her life, using an unusual technique to cope. 

About the film

Hope has a life changing piano audition coming up, nerve wracking at the best of times. Unfortunately, as a sufferer of social anxiety, it’s going to take extraordinary courage to seek the help needed to pursue her dream. This story is fiction, but the “Banana Walk” is a genuine treatment. Filmed on location in Eastbourne, UK.
