World Book Day illustrator and University of Brighton MA graduate Sophy Henn has signed a three-book contract with the publisher. Bad Nana is described as a “deliciously wicked” fully illustrated series for children aged between five and eight.

Sophy, who lives locally still, has previously created  picture books and board books including Where Bear?, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in 2015, and the Pom Pom series (all published by Puffin). She was also selected as the WBD illustrator in 2015 and 2016.
