Matt Packer, who graduated from BA(Hons) Photography in 2001, is a curator and writer originally from Wales and he takes up his post in June. He has been director of the Centre for Contemporary Art Derry-Londonderry since 2014.
His CV includes exhibitions and projects at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery and co-curating the biennial Norwegian Lofoten Art Festival 2015. He is curating the Galway winter visual arts festival, Tulca, this year. He was also part of the panel who selected Phyllida Barlow to represent Britain at the Venice Biennale this year. He starts at Eva in June.
