It has been a busy few weeks with Exam Boards and conference attendance. I was at ECSS Malmö 2015 presenting a poster which can be seen here.
The running has taken a back seat in the last few weeks due to a back then groin problem. But I am still looking for a 1/2 marathon to enter in October time, so hopefully this will start again in the coming weeks.

So I have started a new Blog section of this site, a little bit less work related. I have started to train for a half-marathon, with the view of doing a full marathon if I can manage it.
This blog will just be my musings on training, and how it is going, perhaps with some science thrown in there just for fun!

I am now a Lecturer in Human Physiology in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Brighton, and I am looking forward to the next academic year.
