What is Values Process Training? This is an opportunity to develop Values Process facilitation skills. The Values and Sustainability Research Group (VSRG) has developed this shared values elicitation process over the last twelve years of rigorous participative research. We have worked with public and private organisations, behaviour change projects, university departments, civil society organisations, NGOs and local authorities.
The Values Process is an organisational development tool which can support with:
- Team/staff engagement and cohesion
- Recruitment and retention of staff
- Diversity and inclusion
- Internal and external communications
- Decision making
- Challenges faced by internal and external changes in a department
- Strategy development and implementation
- Training Days: These will take place over four separate days between May and July 2019
Where? University of Brighton (UoB), Brighton East Sussex
Who? This training will be of particular interest to UoB academic and research staff and associates working within Education, Business, Community Development, Consultancy and related areas.
Outcomes: You will:
• Gain a detailed understanding of the VSRG Values Process practice and theory
• Explore applications for this powerful ‘values’ approach
• Have an opportunity to become a fully certified VSRG Values process facilitator
