The day finished with the UBATO forum, where members discussed their experiences of Ofsted Art and Design deep dives.

Julie Howard, UBATO lead, said: “I just love hosting these days!

“You can visibly see just how important these days are for teachers, to learn new practical skills that can implemented in the classroom as well as have the opportunity to discuss subject specific issues in education.”

Feedback from attendees was incredibly positive:

“Just wanted to say thank you for yesterday, I had a great day and lots of ideas to take into the classroom.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and gained so much from allowing myself time to engage in practical work for the day.”

We’re looking forward to the next workshop in May and the artist workshop with Job Edgar in July.
