Here are my final images for Fashion Photography and Styling, overall I am pleased with the result and layout. These images really show the story that my partner and I were trying convey, which I will let you decide for your self.
When it comea to looking for inspiration most of it comes from within my imagination and things I come across within day to day life. When I am asked to look for specific inspiration I don’t find it as inspiring. However, here are some images that I like, but don’t know why. Enjoy.
Rachelle I went out to do some test shooting, to find locations, and test camera settings. We stayed quite close Circus Street and the surrounding area, and. took some pictures in the Circus Street campus of the university. I was quite happy with the shots I got from the shoot. The area had a slight element of decay to it but also of regeneration. Within in the images captured I can see a slight vision of mental deterioration.

One day after lessons, Rachelle and wondered around in Brighton and capture any area of interest. We also kept our eyes open for any potential shooting areas. I took a lot of images but have decided to display the ones I found most pleasing. These images were taken in a round North Laine.
At the beginning of our Fashion Photography and styling unit my partner and I were very taken by the idea of decay. Rachelle, was moved to decay of nature and structure, and I people. With Fashion in mind Heroin Chic was instant thought of mine. Led by Fashion Muse Kate Moss in the 90s, this trend apparently encourage the use of drugs and an unhealthy thinness to the body.
In the modern times this is the equivalent of the Tumblr girl, which I also decided to look into. On Tumblr of course. I was particularly intrigued by a brand called Heroin Kids. I thoroughly enjoyed the brands ascetic even if it wasn’t a particularly positive message that they were sending.
