At the beginning of our Fashion Photography and styling unit my partner and I were very taken by the idea of decay. Rachelle, was moved to decay of nature and structure, and I people. With Fashion in mind Heroin Chic was instant thought of mine. Led by Fashion Muse Kate Moss in the 90s, this trend apparently encourage the use of drugs and an unhealthy thinness to the body.

In the modern times this is the equivalent of the Tumblr girl, which I also decided to look into. On Tumblr of course. I was particularly intrigued by a brand called Heroin Kids. I thoroughly enjoyed the brands ascetic even if it wasn’t a particularly positive message that they were sending.
