Online Resources for Module Leaders
Module leaders are a group of staff who have not traditionally been targeted for staff development. As their role becomes increasingly complex they are in need of some extra support to fully understand their role, both leading their module and as part of a course or courses. In response, the Learning and Teaching Hub has developed some resources that cover a range of topics including planning modules, supporting student learning, module evaluation, updating modules, writing a module handbook and working with colleagues. There is also a section on considering how your modules fit into the course(s) your students are studying. Throughout the resources there are links to university policies and procedures, and there is a section on people throughout the university available for help and advice.
The Module Leader resources are available to University of Brighton staff on the Learning and Teaching Hub internal pages. If you have any comments or feedback please contact John Canning in the Learning and Teaching Hub.
