Collage is a medium that I want to start to get into, partially because I feel that my current “style” needs to change. I worry that mine is too reminiscent of others. I don’t want people to think that when they see something I do, a copy, a pound store alternative.

I came to a realization, that I have been trying to not so much imitate styles, but the influence of them is too obvious. To be a good illustrator, you have to make your own style. Which means doing something different, and in my case out of my comfort zone.
