Free Beryl BTN Bike hire before 10am 15-28 April 2024

Brighton’s Pay As You Go hire scheme is offering free hire on its pedal bikes before 10am, to encourage commuters to give cycling a go.

Pedal only bikes will be free to hire to all registered Beryl members in Brighton & Hove from midnight to 10am each day between Monday 15 April and Sunday 28 April, with no unlock fee. The scheme has over 100 docking stations city wide, offering a fleet of 312 pedal bikes and 468 e-bikes.

If you’re not already a member, you can register via the Beryl website or download the Beryl App on your Smartphone, and open the account with a £1 deposit.

See Beryl’s top tips for staying safe when using their bikes, including indicating where you are going and when you’re going to change lanes or turn, and the recommendation to wear a helmet.

Following the offer period there are a range of options for using the scheme,  including the new £5 100-minute bundles and 2, 10 and 30 day passes with no unlock fee.. For more information (including student discounts) go to the Council’s Beryl BTN Bike hire webpage.
