Volunteer translators needed to support a local school
Do you speak and write another language fluently? Do you have experience of translation, or would like to gain some? Then we would like to hear from you.
The International Advice and Support Team are looking for students for a volunteer translator role with Hill Park School; this is a maintained specialist school for children aged 4-16, with a moderate, severe or profound learning disability. You would be translating information booklets and documents for parents and carers of children at the school. Training will be provided. At the moment the languages needed are:
- Portuguese
- Bengali
- Arabic
- Pashto
But we would like to hear from you if you speak and write any other languages and are interested in the role.
