Could you benefit from a mentor?

The mentoring programmes at the university are available to undergraduate and postgraduate students to support you in setting and achieving your targets and goals with confidence.

Our teams of professional mentors volunteer to meet with you every two weeks over a four-to-six-month period. You can connect remotely with your mentor using tools such as facetime, MS Teams, Zoom, Skype or WhatsApp.

Current mentoring programmes available:

Identity Mentoring Match
Matching students and mentors affiliated by their skin colour, background heritage or a shared experience of being racialised.

Momentum
Open to any University of Brighton student, you are matched with a volunteer professional who will support you in working towards your goals.

LGBT+ Uni-Amex mentoring
LGBT+ students paired with professionals from the LGBTQ+ Pride Network in American Express who are trained to support you in working towards your goals and building confidence. 

Men in Primary
A mentoring programme for men who are training to be primary school teachers. 

Graduate Mentoring (programme runs June – October)
Graduating in 2022? Apply for a mentor to support you with career goals or confidence building.
