Free workshop event for those looking to create their own business or startup

Organised by the university’s entrepreneurship support service, beepurple, join this free, practical and insightful workshop on Wednesday, 20 October 2021, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, on ‘How to Create a Compelling Story for Your Startup’.

The brilliant Roxy Van der Post, documentary filmmaker and lifestyle photographer, and founder of Myosotis Film and Photography, will show you how to write that story.

Roxy believes every story can be remarkable! This hands-on story development workshop will empower you to own your unique business story, and tell it with clarity and confidence.

By the end of Roxy’s workshop, you will know how to:

• Identify ways in which stories exercise emotional power;
• Differentiate between different story types;
• Use an easy-to-replicate story development process.

At the end of the workshop, you will have a basic plot structure for your chosen story, and a replicable story development process that will benefit you for years to come!
