Cycle cage improvement works week commencing 26 July

Work is being undertaken week commencing 26 July to add Unicard locks to cycle cages across the campuses, making it easier for you to access and use the cages.

The cages will be unavailable for use during this week, and cyclists are advised to use other nearby cycle parking instead. The cages unavailable for use and the nearest alternative cycle parking can be found below:

Key deposits

Cyclists who hold keys for cages can collect their deposit as follows:

  • Eastbourne: show your deposit receipt at the Caretakers Office in Hillbrow Cottage, to collect your cash deposit.
  • Moulsecoomb: deposits may be collected upon production of your receipt from the cash office on Fridays between 10.00 – 12 noon. However there will be days when the office is closed during these times and you are advised to wait until the new academic year when the cash office will be open more regularly.

If this is not possible, you can send your deposit receipt by post with a covering letter to the Finance Office in Mithras House, and update your bank details on Student Central and the deposit will be paid back into your bank account.
