Online survey launched to understand wellbeing during COVID-19
Calling all undergraduates. What impact has COVID-19 had on you and what helps your mental and social wellbeing?
These are the key questions in a survey aimed at developing an intervention to assist students in the local area.
The project is being led by Dr Clio Berry, Lecturer in Healthcare Evaluation and Improvement at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, run by the universities of Brighton and Sussex.
Dr Berry said: “The project is focusing on understanding and supporting student mental health and wellbeing across educational transitions – and now concerning the COVID-19 situation.
“As part of the project, we have launched an online survey which is open until 16 June. We hope to achieve a response of at least 1,000 students to inform our work to develop interventions for local students to support mental health and wellbeing through university.”
How to take part
All students studying at UK universities are being invited to take part in the 30-minute survey and participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 first prize, or one of 15, £5 second prizes.
