University of Brighton Social Media policy for students
The University has a number of policies relating to the use of social media for students. Please bear in mind that you should not:
- Bring the University into disrepute
- Do anything that could be considered discriminatory against, or bullying or harassment of, an individual
Please remember that real world standards of behaviour apply online and on social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Your behaviour online is subject to the University’s internal disciplinary rules as well as the general rule of law
- You must not cause needless offence, concern or annoyance to others
- You should always follow the University’s guidelines on social media.
