This week I have struggled with creativity and time management due to personal issues. I feel like I’m struggling to find motivation to complete strong research and stick to the overall aesthetic of the zine. I keep finding myself going slightly off topic and feeling let down with the lack of ideas and concentration.

I have started to gather research on artists and photographers as well as creating mood boards based on similar Pinterest search results on key words like Social Media, Snow White, Identity and Beauty is Pain. I have used this method to help picture an overall idea of things I can include in my Zine.

So far I have visions for Photoshoots including Smashed Mirrors to portray lack of identity and references of the Magic Mirror in both the Snow White stories. I have planned to research more on a project named Dietrich’s Mirror. I have also started researching facts and statistics on Mental Health, specifically connected to Social Media. Hopefully I see some more improvements on my research next week.
