Assessment and feedback

The sections in this page are a collection of ideas and concepts intended to guide and support the development of the assessment and feedback strategy.

The university Curriculum Design Framework key principles for assessment design include:

  • 20 credit modules 1-2 assessment tasks (scalable for higher credit modules)
  • 20 credit modules should have at least 1 formative assessment task (scalable for higher credit modules)
  • Students choose 1 assessment task from a set of tasks at least once during each level of study
  • Assessment tasks should be consistent within the course
