The university Curriculum Design Framework key principles for assessment design include:
- 20 credit modules 1-2 assessment tasks (scalable for higher credit modules)
- 20 credit modules should have at least 1 formative assessment task (scalable for higher credit modules)
- Students choose 1 assessment task from a set of tasks at least once during each level of study
- Assessment tasks should be consistent within the course
