UNDERSTANDING DESIGNERS WORK – ELLIE

I made this mood board of Ellie’s influences in general and for this project, taking the exact artists she has said in her questionnaire, to help me visualise her inspirations and pace them all on page, I find it so fascinating how I can see elements of her work in this already. The intricate texture of that material on the mannequin is matching what I’ve seen in her designs and now the pig hat makes sense as I remember watching Spirited Away when I was younger.
