UNREAL Engine

After following this you will see that I have created a scene on UNREAL engine using imported characters and object to firstly make the scene and then create a story within the scene. This activity was very helpful in understanding how games are developed and some scenes from film. in the future this would hep me as i have already grasped the basics of UNREAL so I wouldn’t be total novice if I were to take on another project on this software again.

Blender Sign

In This Activity I learnt an array of skills including how to transform and change any object into anything I want in this case it was a sign. Furthermore I have learnt how to import and place real world textures into my scene as well as pre made textures to make my objects look more real. This will help me in the future as if someone asks me to create a specific object in blender I feel as if I could confidently execute this.

Sky Replacements

In this activity I leant how to implement a sky replacement using luma matting which I believe through this project I can confidently use again in another project. Furthermore the use of 2d tracking I have found as a really useful tool I will again use in the future in things such as my final project.

CG And Live Action

In this post I explore and tackle CGI while working with a live image. This activity mad helped me understand environment design and all the little things that go into it. Such as setting up[ my geo materials and furthermore making sure the lighting is all right to make my objects look real. This will help me in the future as i can confidently create and design a given environment or one  have decided to make whether that’s a brief from a company or for my own personal gratification.

Chroma Key – Set Extensions

In this post I am demonstrating I am able to extend a set from and array of different footage and making it look seamless and correct. The techniques i learnt and adopted through this was firstly preparing my project through keying and garbage masking this gets me ready to add and set the background. i think this is a key skill to have as an editor and one that will stick with me, following on to make the scene look more right and cohesive I added light wrapping around the video and made sure all the edges connecting my scene were blended. All the skills leant within this activity i believe will help me in the future by helping make my projects more professional due to the skills I have learnt.
