Some funding schemes are available to fund postgraduate studies at University of Brighton.
PhD research projects are available in the following areas:
- Developing point-of-care diagnostic technologies for skin disorders
- Developing effective gene delivery strategies to facilitate gene therapy in the skin
- Developing in vitro skin models for pharmacological investigations
- Enhancing transdermal drug delivery using chemical penetration enhancers

Various funding bodies offer undergraduate research studentships, which may help fund your placement. If you are thinking of applying for funding, do plan ahead so that we can put together a suitable project for your application in good time. For example, note that most applications for summer research bursaries close in the beginning of the year.
