MPharm students present research

Yesterday, team members Dean, Suhaini, Leon (Yi Hin), Skomantas and Temitayo presented their research to staff and students in the school and thus, concluded their MPharm research projects. They had worked very hard over the last 5 months on data collection and analysis.

Despite the tediousness of having to repeat experiments seemingly countless times, the frustration of assays not working at times, and the nerve-racking viva voce, everyone has enjoyed the overall research experience. Some of them have told me that they wish they could spend more time on their projects to look deeper into the data they have generated. Lamentably, research is not something that they get to do a lot in their busy curriculum.

I hope this will not be their final research project, rather the beginning of a career that pushes the boundaries of science.

All the best, everyone!
