June 24th is St John (Baptist) Day and coincides with the midsummer flowering of Hypericum/St John’s Wort.
A harvest of flowers from St John’s Wort for use in the next dye pot. Not sure which colour it will produce on cotton paper…..

What colour did it make?
That looks like Hypericum androsaemum (Tutsan, Shrubby St. John’s Wort) which is different to the st john wort you find as a herbal remedies Hypericum perforatum, (perforate St John’s-wort),
I have tutsan in my garden so would love to know if it worked
