More Growing Space

This week all the wooden framework has been removed from the garden and the path has been relaid with tarmac.

Although it is a shame to lose the sitting area, there is now more space to grow plants.

And perhaps some new seating could be found from somewhere.

Coreopsis

It’s time to start seed sewing for the dye garden.

Coreopsis seed is started in a warm incubator.

Germination can take several weeks so fingers crossed.

The flower heads can be harvested for colour in the yellow – terracotta range.
