As part of this project, we were asked to complete a mini brief which involved creating 6 collages. I based my work on the inspiration I had from my original research so my collage had an essence of the seaside theme in them. I also introduced a fashion element to them with illustrations and textile pieces. I used images like a ‘hand’ and ‘covering eyes’ to underline my theme – tactile. This was meant to highlight the senses to do with touch and encouraging us to see with our hands not our eyes. I am pleased with the outcomes. I feel some are stronger than others so I decided to place the strongest pieces in my opinion to my zines.
