Students from BA Photography responded to themes Utopia and Dystopia during a writing workshop run by Photoworks, where they looked at the relationship between creative writing & photographic storytelling. The workshop ended with a brief for the 10 participants to respond to in pairs, and their response was exhibited in public places across Brighton as part of the Dreamy Place Festival programme.
Previously Brighton Digital Festival, the festival has been reimagined under the new name DREAMY PLACE. Taking place in Crawley and Brighton, it was exciting festival of art, technology and digital culture with exhibitions, talks, demonstrations and gaming, which included work by international artists and technologists from across the UK, China and India.
In pairs students shot, printed and installed works in selected venues across Brighton. On 22nd October they completed two tours of the works. Both tours were sold out.
