Welcome to Employability at the School of Art

3D Design at New Designers

Employability is hugely important to the school of Art and we embed creative attributes into our teaching to prepare students for progression into further study or employment. All students have the opportunity to engage in professional networks such as live briefs, competitions, work experience, community projects and exhibitions. The Employability blog will showcase the latest events, visiting speakers, awards and success from students and Alumni. This image shows the 3D Design and craft exhibition including award winning work from Laila Laurel who won the “New designers Belmond Award” at New Designers in 2019. Through external engagement our students can make a difference through creative practice. This links to the University of Brighton strategy of “Brighton Works”.
